I've got 4 toycars: a couple of old NIKKOs; a very old Ari Vatanen's (Finnish WRC & Paris-Dakar rally legend) little Peugeot and just old and bigger 4WD Super Fox buggy.

Another first car of mine with the NikkoPeugeot (Santa brought them both on the same X-Mas, when I was Very young) was of SHINSEI's make, a little dumptruck which felt quite durable. It even had a dumping function in it's remote! I consider the model as a celebrity in Finland because it was in a TV-commercial of a gas station back in the 80's, where it dumped a load of candies over a piano :) That was Something back then.

As a joyride I have a quite fresh New Beetle from TYCO's Canned Heat -series, which I considered as a practicing ground for my KYOSHO's Mini-Z-racer, which I now have bought, apparently as the 2nd one in this city. I put some info and pics about it here.

I've modified the little Beetle by mounting small LEDs allover and I also did replace the motor to an old BANDAI-made Mega Hyper -Mabuchi Motor. But it didn't take long before I switched stock motor back, because after the first engine change the car was no longer controllable =). Steering and throttle are ON/OFF-style but the price is low..

That orange thing in the upper picture is my ancient 6WD wire-controlled (or something..) toy. I have plans to convert it into an RC in the near future.
