uskonnollisuuutta koskevan haastattelututkimuksen tulokset:
Kirkon tutkimuskeskus: .. uskonnollisuuden .. Pohjoismaissa
Selviaa etta:
Vahintaan kerran kuussa rukoilee
o 48% suomalaisista
o 31% norjalaisista
o 1/4 ruotsalaisista
o 1/4 tanskalaisista, 60% tanskalaista ei rukoile koskaan
Jumalaan uskoo 81 % suomalaista.
Persoonalliseen Jumalaan uskoo
o 39% suomalaisista
o 28% norjalaisista
o 20& tanskalaista
o 18% ruotsalaisista
Vertailun vuoksi: Word -values tutkimuksen mukaan Etela-amerikassa
ghanassa, Nigeriassa, Brasiliassa, Puerto Ricossa, Venezuelassa ja
Filippiineilla ylletaan 99% lukuihin ja ylikin.
Raamattua Jumalalliseen inspiraatioon pohjautuvana pitaa
Pohjoismaissa enemmisto paitsi Ruosissa n.50%.
"Sanasta sanaan Jumalan sanana" Raamattua pitaa 18% suomalaista,
Ruotsissa vain 3%.

I popped the figure from memory, it was originally in
graphical form. But the right value should not be far from 15%.
Finnish Gallup polls from 1993-94 tell that (I got from www of local
Lutheran church circular..):

o 10% of Finns believes in astrology or horoscopes
: Superstition in general seems to flourish in Russia, perhaps even more so

: Here in the USA there is more public skepticism towards biological

Yes it seems. In this regard Finns are not so stupid ;)
(Nearly nobody knows here what 'creationism' means. I asked Mr. Heino,
who makes(orders) the most 'belief polls' in this country that
'Has Finns ever asked about creationism in polls?'. He said 'no' and
said that Finns would not even understand the word or its meaning. He
guessed there could be only few percent here who'd believe in
creationism...But I know so many creationists/anti-evolutionists that
'few percent' is perhaps some bit underestimated.)

literally true — but at the same time a vast majority rejects the Biblical
suggestion that Jews bear collective responsibility for the death of
Jesus.
Six in 10 in this ABCNEWS Primetime poll say the Biblical accounts of
Moses parting the Red Sea, God creating the world in six days and Noah and
the flood happened that way, word for word. Evangelical Protestants are
even more apt to hold this view; about nine in 10 of them take these
accounts literally.

Literal belief peaks among evangelical Protestants, and especially among
evangelical Protestants who attend church at least once a week. In that
group, 96 percent take the Red Sea story literally. It's a still-high 85
percent among evangelical Protestants who attend church less often.
