AILO tournament rules:

  1. Only bots sent directly to me (juha.patsi@pp.inet.fi) with the subject 'AILO-entrant' can enter the tournament. 
    (PLEASE DON'T USE THE PHRASE 'AILO-entrant' ON SUBJECT LINE IN VAIN!!)

  2. The name of Author, the name of robot file(s), witch robots file(s) from previous AILOs are to be replaced and a short prescription of the robot would be nice (but not absolutely compulsory).  If an author enters only one bot, I'll enter it three times unless not asked to be entered only once.

  3. Dead-line is May 6th 23:59 (GMT).  Entrants are accepted only after April 30th 00:00 (GMT). 

  4. One author may enter at most three bots.

  5. Only the first set of bots sent by one author is sure to be entered.

  6. Using false copyright information in the code of a robot in any way is considered plagiarism in AILO and thus forbidden.

  7. I am allowed to publish ALL the bots entered into the tourney.

  8. I may run some other tournaments later with some bots from this tournament. (I am NOT planning to run AIFO this time though)

  9. Robot Battle Version 1.4.0.7 is used or later if available before April 30th 00:00 (GMT).

  10. All bots enter the first match.

  11. Last robot is dropped each match. (There will be no ties - the last on the score list output will be dropped, with no exceptions.)

  12. If there is only robots from one author left, the remaining matches may be skipped

  13. Number of Games: 2 + 2 ^ 14 / ( _RobotsTotal  - 1 ) ^ 1.5   (The formula might still change)

  14. _ArenaWidth =  368 * (Number_Of_Robots / 6 ) ^ 0.5 + 32 ( or maximum possible arena widht)

    ie. 2 bots: 244x244 arena
    ...
    6 bots: 400x400 arena
    ...
    50 bots 1094x1094 arena

  16. Initial Heading: random (not default!)

  17. Position and Heading: New Each Game

  18. Cease Fire Turns: None
