Background
I am a twenty-five year old, third year student of English Philology at the University of Oulu. I would describe myself as a well-travelled, responsible individual who is willing and able to learn new things and one who can quickly adapt to diverse situations. In addition to speaking fluent English I also have a basic knowledge of French and Swedish. I am a trained and skillful translator (Finnish to English and vice versa). Furthermore, my experience as a receptionist, driver and handyman at a refugee reception centre has added to my abilities of communicating without the benefit of a shared language. My hobbies, scuba diving and photography, have allowed me to develop useful skills in their respective fields. Recently I have been studying Technical Communication as a secondary subject, and I have developed skills in both content creation and project work.
