Language and Communication

It has been quite obvious to me for some time now that this is an area in which most of my talents lie. I find it very easy to open a dialogue with whomever I am dealing. Verbal expression is something which comes quite naturally to me, and it is also the strength I rely upon when faced with adversity. .........		  

 

Collaboration

As someone who thrives on communication if find it easy to work as a member of a team. Both as a leader and a worker I consider the completion of a given task to be a personal responsibility. I tend to extend this view to others as well, and this is something which may, in the worst of circumstances, lead to conflict. I am naturally predisposed to solving problems, and this may sometimes cause me to find some where there aren’t any.

Leadership

I am not one who seeks to lead for the sake of leading. This does not, however, mean that I am incapable of leading or that I lack the authority to do so. I have found that those who desire to be in command are often the most unsuitable candidates for such a position. A personal ambition to exercise power over others is often overshadowed by a lack of perception towards those who are under one's authority. I consider myself fully capable of taking the reigns when required to, and have done so successfully in the past. In my view a leader needs to be aware of the situation of those under his or her command, and a leader who lacks empathy is one who will inevitably fail.

  

Dealing with Diversity, Uncertainty and Conflict

I consider myself an open-minded individual, and dealing with diversity is something I have extensive experience of. Uncertainty is something which can understandably prove unnerving or frustrating. It is not, however, something which prevents me from functioning. I admit to having a bit of a temper, and it is an attribute which has its faults and virtues. Being frustrated with an obstacle can often lead to a quick solution. On the other hand, an overtly aggressive disposition can also hinder one’s perception and thus delay the completion of a task. Every experience in which I am faced with adversity develops my ability to solve problems in a logical, cool and collected way.
