About me

background

I was born March 24th 1983 in Kemijärvi, Finland. I lived for the twenty first years of my life in Kemijärvi, and I have an easy-going attitude that is typical to my family and people living in Lapland. My key strengths have always been my good self-confidence and ability to take things as they come.

studying

I am currently studying English philology at the university of Oulu. My minor subjects include European studies, Technical Communication and acting studies. Other languages I have studied include Russian, German and Swedish.

activities

I spend most of my freetime on theatre. I have been doing improv theatre with a group since 2005 and we have recently founded a theatre co-op. I have been responsible for maintaining the webpage of our improv group and selling and organizing gigs.

I have also produced two plays for the Oulun ylioppilasteatteri. During my time in the board of the theatre I was in charge of the courses and the newspaper "Pläkäri". These and other responsibilities in several non-profit organisations have taught me a lot.
